Who we are
Bakd Kitchen ("we," "us," "our") is a health-focused kitchen and daily meal-subscription service based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through bakdkitchen.com, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information we collect
Right now, bakdkitchen.com collects only what you choose to give us: your email address, when you join our waitlist through the signup form.
We do not currently collect names, phone numbers, home addresses, or payment information through this website, and we don't use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers on this site.
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes standard technical information, such as IP address and browser type, as part of delivering the site to your browser. We don't access or use this data ourselves beyond what's needed to keep the site running.
How we use your information
We use the email address you provide solely to:
- Notify you when Bakd Kitchen opens
- Let you know when meal-subscription spots become available
- Send occasional updates about our launch
We won't use your email for anything else without asking you first.
Third-party service providers
We use Formspree, a third-party form-processing service, to receive and store waitlist submissions. When you submit the waitlist form, your email address is sent directly to and stored by Formspree on our behalf, on servers located in the United States. This means your information may be stored and processed outside of Canada, where it could be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. Formspree encrypts data in transit and states it retains information only as long as necessary. Their full privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard web traffic data on our behalf.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We keep waitlist email addresses until Bakd Kitchen opens and any related launch communications are complete, or until you ask us to delete your information, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we have about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information or unsubscribe from our list

Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Bakd Kitchen grows, particularly once ordering and subscriptions go live. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
